Meet Kelly
Kelly is a former Chiropractor turned Certified Health Coach. Wanting to combine her skill set with working with patients, life experience as an athlete and personal trainer, and endless years of research into our modern-day lifestyle diseases, she was afforded that opportunity by becoming certified as a wellness coach in 2018.
Passionate About Inspiring Others
Kelly became interested in healthcare after sustaining a severe spinal fracture as a competitive gymnast. After recovering from four major spinal surgeries, she received her B.S. in Chemistry from Bemidji State University in 1993 and her Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences in 1997.
Kelly had her own chiropractic business in Moab, Utah, for seven years. After selling her practice, she was hired at the Moab Regional Specialty Clinic, where she assisted in Orthopedics and General Surgery. Her love for science and the human body continued.
Her lifelong athletic endeavors are another driving force behind her interest in all things health. She began tumbling classes at age four and was competing by age 11. Although gymnastics was her first love, she pursued soccer, speedskating, tennis, basketball, softball, and Nordic skiing. She competed in collegiate cross-country, track, and Nordic skiing. She earned a spot on the Women's NCAA Championship Nordic Ski Team there. In 2018, along with three other female teammates, she was inducted into the university's Athletic Hall of Fame for their 1992 performance.
As an adult, endurance running both on and off-road, plus half Ironman Triathlons, fueled her free time. Some of her accomplishments include 2nd place in her age group in the Twin Cities Marathon and Boston Marathon, age group placement in the Pikes Peak Trail Marathon, and competing for Team USA in her age group in the Long-Distance Triathlon World Championships held in Sado, Japan.
Kelly is passionate about encouraging others to reach their peak potential and their best optimal health. She wants to fight the war on modern-day diseases by empowering individuals to choose healthy lifestyles.
